Sonos Boost is a Wi-Fi Star

Sonos Boost If getting decent Wi-Fi coverage - and uninterrupted streaming music - has always been a challenge around your place, a Sonos system powered by their new Boost product could be the answer. Boasting enterprise-grade hardware, it delivers a robust, powerful wi-fi signal that will provide 360 degree coverage throughout even the most challenging home environments. As we reported in a recent post, Sonos recently enabled 'native' wi-fi connectivity with its products, doing away for the need to hard-wire at least one speaker to the network or use their Bridge product to create a Sonos mesh network. That solution will work fine for most home users, but when the going gets tough, a dedicated mesh network can't be beaten. Sonos Bridge has done that well for years but the new Boost product is around twice as powerful as the Bridge, solving even the toughest wi-fi challenges. The device uses three antennae to provide seamless 360 degree coverage, and as it creates a dedicated mesh network, it's immune from interference from devices on the main wi-fi network. Sonos Boost is available now with a recommended retail price of $149.
