New Sonos PLAY:5

Sonos Play:5 new in 2015

The all-new version of the near-legendary original PLAY:5 by Sonos improves upon it in many ways.

It’s beefier than its predecessor, weighing in at 6.5kg, and it has double the grunt under the hood. New audio technology such as six state-of the-art digital amplifiers individually coupled with six speakers delivers seriously good sound to any room. And a stack of new features will tempt even existing Play:5 owners to upgrade.

Whether on its own, in a stereo pair or as part of a 5.1 system, it’s the best sounding Sonos speaker yet. Check out the video:

Trueplay tuning

Trueplay measures the acoustics of the room the PLAY:5 is in – analysing things like size, layout and furnishings. It then fine tunes your PLAY:5 to make sure the music sounds great, no matter where you place your speaker.
