When Sonos launched the new Sonos app last year, they received a lot of positive feedback. They also heard from lots of people that some things were made worse. For instance, it became more difficult to move music between rooms, and they could have done better with their tablet design.
Now they've introduced their next update to make things better.
Effortlessly move your music around your home with a more accessible Rooms Menu, now available by tapping the top of any screen in the Sonos app.
A more engaging browsing experience for iPad and Android tablets with dedicated screens for what’s playing and music discovery. Toggling between screens is easy. Building a playlist with new favorites is more fun than ever.
Using your phone, swipe down from the Now Playing screen to go back to browse your music. Then swipe from far left to right to show all your music sources.
The track progress bar is back in your Now Playing screen, just below the album art. Drag it to whatever point in the song you want to play.
