Sonus Faber have just outdone themselves with the release of three new speaker models that lift the company's reputation for craftsmanship to new heights.

Amati Tradition and
Guarneri Tradition (replacing the previous Amati and Guarneri) and new
Serafino Tradition loudspeakers are utterly stunning to behold, with luscious design and materials including walnut and wenge timbers, leather, glass and aluminium creating a gorgeous physical impression.
Of course it's all meaningless without sound to match, and Sonus Faber have not let us down in that department, with a number of significant developments in driver and cabinet design that greatly improve on the accuracy and linearity of the loudspeakers compared to previous models.

Guarneri Tradition
The Guarneri Tradition is a 2-way stand-mounted loudspeaker with supplied carbon fibre monocoque stands. With its small size it disappears from the soundstage leaving you with an astonishingly life-like presentation.
The cabinet is a full para-aperiodic vented box with Sonus Faber's Stealth Ultraflex System and Zero Vibration Transmission technology implemented on the dedicated stand to decouple it from the floor.
It uses a 150mm driver as a midwoofer and has the same 28mm silk dome tweeter used in the other speakers in the Tradition lineup.
Crossover impedance at low frequencies is controlled for a clear and friendly amplifier performance.. Highest quality components are used including last generation Mundorf “Evo” Oil and Silver/Gold/Oil capacitors and Jantzen inductors.
It's a stunning work of art and science.
Guarneri Tradition price & finishes
The recommended retail price of the Guarneri Tradition is $21,999. It's available in Red Walnut with black inlays, black leather and brushed black aluminium, or chocolate brown Wenge wood with maple inlays, brown leather and brushed aluminium in a titanium finish.
Serafino Tradition
The Serafino Tradition is an all-new model in the Sonus Faber line-up. A 3.5 way floorstander, it could be viewed as a scaled-down version of the acclaimed Amati, although they stand 1100mm high and weigh a hefty 52kg apiece.
Serafino Tradition features 2 x 6" woofer units in conjunction with the same midwoofer / tweeter arrangement as the Guarneri Tradition.
With a frequency response of 30-35,000Hz and power handling up to 350w they will fill a room with sublimely rich sound.

Amati Tradition
The flagship of the Homage Tradition range is the Amati Tradition. The predecessor Amati Futura was a very highly acclaimed loudspeaker but the Tradition goes even further with improvements that make it one of the finest loudspeakers we've ever had the pleasure of listening to (and looking at!) on our showroom floor.
Refinements to driver units, cabinet and crossover design, vents and vibration management have created a speaker that seems close to perfect.
Our listening so far has left us hugely impressed, as has the craftsmanship of these and the other two models in the range. You can't help but smile every time you pass them.
With 2 x 8.5" woofers, a 6" midwoofer and 1" silk dome tweeter it combines effortless power and extension with stunning transparency and detail. Bass extension goes down to 28Hz and it will handle 500w of amplification.
