Yamaha A-S Series
A-S series amps are an all-analog affair, with retro styling that reflects the old-school ethos of the technology under the hood that emphasises analog purity over all else.
The A-S amplifiers (A-S3200, A-S2200 and A-S1200) feature massive toroidal transformers, high quality PPS capacitors, low impedance balanced design and a 'mechanical ground' concept that dramatically reduces internal vibration. Oh, and those lovely VU meters!
A-S3200
The A-S3200 is the flagship of the A-S amplifier range. Its fully-balanced circuitry delivers purity of sound against a vanishingly low noise floor and extended channel separation.
We're currently running this in store paired with Dynaudio Evoke 50's which is a particularly sweet combination, but with the huge power reserves available the A-S3200 is capable of driving virtually any loudspeaker to its full potential.
